You’re Invited

As fall has recently started, I’m reminded of how great of a summer we just had. I will be writing all about that next week! Today, I want to invite you to two events.

One is this Saturday, October 9, 2021! That event is “Kids & Cows” at the Barron County Fairground in Rice Lake, WI. It’s an educational, fun day. Marie is bringing eight head of Miniature Herefords for the day and those that don’t have their own cattle can work with them that day. Below is the poster for the event or go to the website here.

So the next event that I don’t want you to miss out on is the final Farmer’s Market on the Farm of this summer. Marie will still be open every Monday for meat sales afterward, but you aren’t going to want to miss this Monday’s Market!!! LEFSE, LEFSE, LEFSE!!! Big Elk Creek Lutheran Church is making fresh homemade lefse and will be offering it Monday only at “Farmers Market on the Farm” here at Sandy Acres. Please come and support the hard work of these ladies and members who will be making it fresh Sunday and Monday! Can’t wait to see you there!!!
